Dan Vasquez
Dan started his career in 1993 as an apprentice technician. He attended the Sierra College Automotive Program throughout his apprenticeship, and became A.S.E Certified. Dan worked his way up from an apprentice technician to a Master Technician to Team Leader and eventually to a Shop Foreman. With over 25 years experience in the business, Dan joined the Performance Motor Works Team in 2013 as the Parts and Service Director, and purchased the business in 2018.

Martin Randall
April 2022 - Present
With a passion for automobiles ignited by a family friend’s involvement in a renowned local race team, Martin embarked on a journey that would shape his career. He pursued his automotive engineering studies at American River College, honing his skills and knowledge.
Martin’s automotive journey began as a lube technician, where he gained hands-on experience in the field. His dedication and aptitude quickly propelled him to the role of an apprentice technician, allowing him to further expand his expertise.
Recognizing his talent and customer service skills, Martin was presented with the opportunity to become a service advisor, a role he has excelled in for over 11 years. His ability to communicate effectively and provide exceptional service has been instrumental in his success.
Throughout his career, Martin has managed two different local chain tire and repair centers, showcasing his leadership and management capabilities. In 2019, he transitioned to specializing in European vehicles, further broadening his automotive knowledge and experience.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Martin’s passions extend to the realms of Star Wars, basketball, and, most importantly, his family. His well-rounded interests and dedication to his loved ones contribute to his balanced and fulfilling life.
With a wealth of experience, a thirst for knowledge, and a genuine love for the automotive industry, Martin continues to excel as a Lead Service Advisor and Production Manager, delivering exceptional service and expertise to every customer he serves.
Danny Vasquez Jr. "Junior"
November 2021 - Present
In 2017, Junior embarked on a path of service to our nation, joining the United States Marine Corps as a Tactical Transmission System Operator at Camp Pendleton, CA. His dedication and commitment to his role laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
As he transitioned out of the military in 2021, Junior’s passion for automotive mechanics led him to gain valuable hands-on experience at Oil Exchange Quick Lube in Oceanside, CA. This initial exposure to the automotive industry ignited his desire to further his knowledge and skills.
In November 2021, Junior joined Performance Motor Works as an apprentice technician, simultaneously pursuing his education at the Universal Technical Institute for Automotive (U.T.I) in Sacramento, CA. His unwavering determination and thirst for knowledge were evident as he balanced his work and studies.
2022 marked a significant milestone for Junior as he graduated from the Universal Technical Institute, solidifying his automotive expertise. However, his pursuit of knowledge did not stop there. He continued his academic journey at Sierra College in Rocklin, CA, where he earned an Associate of Science degree in 2024, all while maintaining his role at Performance Motor Works.
Currently, Junior is attending Sacramento State University, working towards a bachelor’s degree in Business. His commitment to continuous learning and professional growth is truly remarkable, reflecting his dedication to excellence in both his personal and professional life.
With a unique blend of military discipline, hands-on experience, and a strong academic foundation, Junior brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to his role as a Technician at Performance Motor Works. His journey serves as an inspiration, showcasing the power of perseverance, passion, and a relentless pursuit of growth.
Gary McCoig

With decades of experience in the automotive industry, Gary brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep-rooted passion to his role as a Service Advisor. His journey began within his family’s automotive repair business, where he honed his skills as both a technician and a service advisor, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and customer service expertise.
Gary’s love for the automotive world extends beyond the realm of repair and maintenance. He is a true enthusiast of all aspects of motor sports, immersing himself in the thrill and excitement that comes with the roar of engines and the adrenaline of high-performance vehicles.
What sets Gary apart is his genuine ability to connect with people. He is a true "people person," possessing a natural talent for building rapport and fostering strong relationships with customers.
